We are always looking for the best people to deal with our clients. You will need the motivation and passion we expect and love dealing with people. You should be goal focused and ready to succeed in a competitive environment. Industry experience is ideal, though not always compulsory if you are the right person and willing to learn.
Your flexibility to work long hours and weekends is also something we consider essential. Our business is open seven days a week and we are far from a nine to five company.
To make sure that our people can achieve the exceptionally high standard set for them, we provide regular in-house training and assessment. At Karl Tatler it is mandatory that sales and lettings staff have industry recognised qualifications, as laid down by the National Federation of Property Professionals. We will provide all the relevant training to ensure you successfully pass the NFoPP Technical Award exams if you do not already have the qualification. The Technical Award will form the basis of your skills and we add to that our 400 years combined industry experience and knowledge.
We have a 96% staff retention rate, so we don’t always have a position available. However due to our on-going success, our business continues to grow and we do consider everybody who completes our recruitment application.

To ensure we recruit only the highest calibre of individuals, all applicants must complete a rigorous recruitment process.
The first step is our application form. If this is completed to our standards, we will then arrange a telephone interview with applicants.

Whilst we recruit only the best, we also understand it is our role to nurture the best. We have an outstanding focus on training and developing our staff. When there are areas with potential for improvement, we like to help.
It is this commitment which has seen us achieve national GOLD awards for Training & Development for both sales and lettings. We also offer our staff the training required to complete their NFoPP qualifications.
Our guys work very hard day in, day out, and are crucial to our company success.
All hard work deserves reward, and we like to reward our staff with regular, varied, social events. To make sure we are partaking in events which everyone is interested in, we also survey all staff annually to find out which events have been the most popular, and to see which other events are of interest to our hard-working teams.
As a community focused business, we are committed to supporting local charities and events.
Our entire company has worked closely with a number of charities to raise money, donate time, provide support and help towards making a difference.
