World renowned customer service accreditation for Karl Tatler

Independently owned Karl Tatler Estate Agents & Lettings has achieved 'A Recognised Business of Customer Service Excellence' accreditation. 

All seven of Karl Tatler’s offices took part in the WorldHost accredited training day, gaining the 'The Principles of Customer Service' qualification. This makes them the first company of its kind in Wirral where all staff have received the accreditation. 

Shaun Carlton, operations manager responsible for training at Karl Tatler, said: “Providing outstanding customer service is an intrinsic part of our client offering, so we are always looking at ways to enhance the skills of our people. Everyone across the company took part in this world renowned training and enthused about what they had learnt. Principles of the course have since been included in all training from new starter inductions to monthly training.”

WorldHost customer service was used to train tens of thousands volunteers and staff at one of the UK’s most successfully hosted events, the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics. 

Barbara Travis of Liverpool based Sysco Group, who trained all employees said: “Karl Tatler are the first Merseyside estate agency to train all employees in this programme and on such a large scale. They thoroughly deserve their new accreditation for customer service excellence. The company has great in-house training facilities including a modern training suite, within the Heswall Head Office. Our Training Academy continues to support and train other Merseyside organisations and is it great that Karl Tatler are leading the way in this sector, to promote high customer service standards.”

All frontline members of Karl Tatler staff are also National Federation of Property Professionals (NFoPP) qualified. Sales staff with the NFoPP Technical Award are qualified in all aspects of estate agency practice including property sale laws, property appraisal and building construction in relation to surveys. Lettings staff are qualified in the complexities of property rentals and the critical legal obligations for both tenants and landlords, including property dilapidations and tenancy agreements.

Independent mystery shopper reviews of Karl Tatler’s customer service as part of the Estate Agency of the Year Awards “achieved amazing scores across the board". The company was crowned overall winners at the 2015 awards.
