Karl Tatler on a Christmas Mission with Radio City's Cash for Kids
Radio City’s Cash for Kids launched this year’s Mission Christmas toy appeal (17th November) and Wirral-based Karl Tatler Estate Agents & Lettings got involved.
The annual Christmas present appeal asks for new and unwrapped gifts suitable for babies, children and young people aged 0-18 years, and each of Karl Tatler’s seven branches across Wirral were drop off points.
Managing director, Karl Tatler, said: “We’re really proud to support Radio City’s Mission Christmas appeal. Not only does the appeal help towards making a disadvantaged child’s Christmas morning special, but it also shines a light on the dreadful reality that 1 in 3 children in our region are living in poverty. Thanks to the generosity of our staff and local people bringing presents into our offices in Wirral, we are delighted to be donating more than 190 presents to deserving children this Christmas.”
To launch Karl Tatler’s support of the appeal and to engage the public, the award-winning company recorded a Christmas video. Within 24 hours of being released on YouTube and social the video had been watched over 2,000 times. Promoting the Mission Christmas message, the video has now amassed 4,257 views.
Karl added: “Whilst our Christmas video was a bit of fun, we hope that for every person who watches it they will decide to buy an extra Christmas present for a deserving child or young person this Christmas.”
Karl Tatler branches are collecting gifts up to Tuesday 8th December.
Local businesses and shops, including Asda stores, across Merseyside and Wirral have also registered as drop off points. The appeal runs until mid-December.
